I've started using Firefox at home. The default media player is Quicktime, but it plays in a tiny window. Can it be enlarged?
Or can Windows media player be set as default?

Speed doesn't kill people.
Stupidity kills people.
Can enlarge - just drag on a corner. Think the player is determined by the file type thoOriginally Posted by Lou Girardin

Hi Lou, look at your windows player screen (no matter how small it is) on it somewhere should be two little squares diagonally joined with a little arrow going in a downwards or upwards direction - click on that symbol and that should make your screen bigger. All the best![]()
I have been using Firefox for some time now and mine defaults to WMP. I'm booted up in Linux at the moment, so can't check the XP setup, but if you have SP2 installed, go to the system defaults and select WMP (microsoft want you to anyway!) you certainly don't have to use Quicktime if you don't want to, unless it is a quicktime file.

Ever notice that anyone slower than you is an idiot, but anyone going faster is a maniac?
As has been said, the middle button on the top right of the window will maximise a window.
If you want to change your default media player to Windows Media Player, on the start menu there should be a choice "Set Program Access and Defaults" somewhere (depending on your choice of start menu look).
If you can't see it, another way is to open the Control Panel, navigate to "Add or Remove Programs" and on the left hand side should be "Set Program Access and Defaults".
If this doesn't work, say so, and we can always default every video file extension individually. Just don't feel like typing it if its not needed...![]()
