Johnny Walker Red Label. Out of the Glenfiddich 12 year. Unfortunately. Red lable isn't a bad whisky for a cheapie.

I did a monster fart in the shower this morning and the water was rather on the "hot" side of the scale.
Oddly it smelt exactly like Rotorua's thermal stench.

I guess I'll have a bussload of chinese visitors arriving this evening.

    hinano tahiti.

    Imported "amber beer". From tahiti

Sweet, malty, dark, hoppy. Not bad, though i'd say oversweet and a drier finish wouldn't hurt any.
5.5%, tenner for a sixer at sack n slaves party like it's 1985 sale.

    Worth a go.

    beer.

Literally. These meatheads called it beer.

All the way from te aro st garage project in wellingtown (must be drewpys mates)

overhopped (srsly EVERYONE you cant hide bad beer behind more fucken hops. )
    Citrus notes. Clean, medium finish.
"pilsner malt, saaz hops, czech yeast"
4.8%, $4/can. Wouldnt buy again unless there was heaps and it was cheap.

this czech yeast is another one thats cropping up a bit. Not sure yet how it affects the flavour, seems to always be hoppy beers it's in so maybe that's what it's suited to.

    Red Army Officers' Vodka.

    Most excellent.

Especially as I am off duty till Wednesday a.m.

I acquired this taste while assigned to one of the Trashcanistans. It almost made the posting worthwhile

...I have tasted lots and lots of differing flavours of beers, different brewers, different styles of beer of late...(the last few months anyway)...I have found one or two that I could actually say , 'Yip, that's the one for me'...most have been too hoppy, too malty, too fucking anything really...I really like the Stoke Amber but as of a week or so back I decided will stick with Monteiths Original or the southern yak-piss Speights...thank you...I've been contemplating an excessive spend, (for me) and buying the odd bottle of single malt...just for the joyousness of it all...
