"Moose's Milk" with genuine Navy squirt?

I've inherited a haul of around 20 bottles of spirits. Slowly going through them.

It really is crap. Far too sweet.
The bottle went down the drain. Yuck!
Also the same occured with the half bottle of Tequila. (it was 1980's vintage. Tasted shit back then as I remember.)

Arguing with an Engineer is like wrestling a pig in mud.

After a while you realise the pig is enjoying it.

"1800" if you want a tequila that doesnt taste like tequila but very much is. Comes in 3 (4?) flavours. Gold/morange/amber or whatever the fuck is the truest in spirit (pun intended) silver is cleaner but old wives will warn you off clear spirit.

Unless its slivovitz. That shits good for everything.

Stuff that. Stolichnaya is the only way to go.

    Avocaat:
The best known cocktail using advocaat is the Snowball:

Fuck off! The only "snowball" I've seen on the interdwibble hasn't involved alcohol... at all.

Damn right it is....the missus & I travelled through the former communist states shortly after the Ruskis fucked off. Slivovitz & Borovichka were the liquid versions of the Babel fish.....& it was impossible to say no to the locals. I reckon I was drunk for weeks at a time.
Everyone had a svetchka plum tree growing in the courtyard & all took pride in making grade A shit.
Granny would toddle out with cheese, pork fat & bread & sit down with the men folk & then, nek minit......

A few weeks back I met a young couple from the Czech republic who were WWOOFing at a mates & I waxed lyrical on the awesumness of Slivovitz....the young fella got up & disappeared for a few minutes ,returning with a small bottle of his grand parents slivovitz & offered me a small glass of it. I was well chuffed & Oh man was it smooth....

    to go where??

No. If you want a better approximation of actual vodka, go wyborowwa (translates from the polish "excellent", and it is)

also, *strawberry advocaat, not that amaretto beige shit.

It's good for getting off a horse.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

I had it on good authority (OK... I actually made it up) that "Slilovitz" means "sleeep in the ditch".
Well that's what our experience was, many moons ago when drinking all weekend every weekend was the norm.
Man, do I regret that now. All that wasted time and money.
    And braincells...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

This is where I wish we had a 5th Amendment to our non-existent Constitution.

Or were you wondering if I was getting a horse off right now?

    it's still bourbon.

although, much nicer than the regular. i believe it's charcoal filtered and aged over oak chips or something. still not legit. and certainly not worthy of the name whiskey.
