Said bottle of Pims sits unopened. The label says mix with lemonade, 7-Up or ginger ale, ice and a slice of lemon, orange or cucumber. That's very nearly a complete meal, I just need to add bacon for full nutritional value.
The whisky was a Gordon & MacPhail special. Thoroughly recommend people drop in to Meenans if passing through Dunedin for an excellent selection of hard to find whisky. Salivate here.

I got grief last night for drinking the 'ken, by some craft beer drinkers. It was their opinion that nothing mass produced can be any good.
I was astounded at this one woman, who was looking down her nose at me for not wanting to pay $7 for a beer I likely wouldn't like at the pub.
