stoke IPA: not being a fan of ipa in any form, this unsurprisingly fails to impress. infact their whole range is pretty similar, dominated by hops, pretty much all the same colour. the differences may be too subtle for me, but i'm pretty sure they're all just fokken average.
I had some Stoke once and its very ordinary. Throwing handfuls of hops into a dull beer does not transform it to a craft beer.
Get a mix box of Tuatara, all rather good.
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

Yup stoke beer isn't great. Cheap though. Well it is here.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Well we can't all just go and shoot one of the neighbours sheep. Besides the town is spreading out past here and the sheep have been replaced by houses. Can still hear the stags on the nearest deer farm though. Maybe I should shoot one of them?

Must check which vinho tinto goes with venison?

Pay rise and job offer this week so I'm celebrating a bit. A Panhead Vandal to start, could possibly have pushed Epic Armageddon from my top spot, and then after a couple of nondescript red wines I am on to a 17 year old Scot from Aberlour. Very smooth, like a 17 year old should be.

And I think that better be my last post tonight.

not much of a wino, and prefer the blends when i do, but i'd be thinking a plum/spice merlot. or some shit.

We get Asahi Dry here now, God knows where it's brewed, but I haven't seen any feminine packaging like that.

The last Peroni I bought was brewed in South Australia rather than Italy.

On checking I see that the bottles currently cooling in the fridge were actually "brewed and bottled in Mexico" which was a pleasant surprise. I'd have assumed they came from the Khyber Pass. No, not the one connecting Afghanistan and Pakistan, the Auckland one.

Been cleaning the bike but there's a Nappa Valley Cabernet ready for later. That's a first.
I'd better nip up the road and buy a steak and maybe some meatballs to have with a Chianti tomorrow.
