Dude, you're sitting in bloody northland, interwebbing on your phone, and drinking home brew. How much better can you be?

Never done it. Tasted a few, and every single one of them was fuckin awful!

Before ya say it though, nearly every guy brewing thinks theirs is good...It isn't, it's just cheap.

Mug of hot chocolate with a generous dash of home made bourbon. Next round I think I'll substitute the bourbon for some Butterscotch Schnapps from Ratti's distillery stock.

give it a crack. Last season was ale season and i pulled off some very drinkable shit. Unfortunately ive since drunk all the proof.
You need to try an older brewer, who will actually condition the beer for months or years. Not the guy with a bucket and 10$ coopers cans who will drink it before the month is done...
There are some good english dry lagers to be had, a black rock can might get you in the mood...use dextrose for extra dry.

//im in the market for a pot. A big pot. With a lid. Grain brewd lagers, this winter...

I don't have the patience for brewing methinks. Trick might be to make so fucking much I can't drink it all so it matures.

For the return though, I'd rather just buy the green boxes once a week.

    Cuppa tea

Although given how the last few days have been, vodka on the rocks would be more fitting, but I don't think my boss would be too happy with that.

    So picky..
