People are different, some need to be boosted and tell them they are the man. Generally speaking the more successful one's just get down to work and get it done.
I understand what you are saying. Not sure what Billy means exactly. Some riders will be better than others, some will learn from experience or coaching, others may hit the brick wall of talent or confidence. The suggestion that any rider who is off the pace should go home and stay home is bollocks. The sport needs riders of all calibres or it dies. This winter series entries are looking pretty sick. 3 guy's racing for 7th place are as important to the sport as the winner.
