Departing Wgtn Wednesday morning, slow meandering trip down the west coast, Wanaka friday night. Sunday/monday back up the centre by as many back gravel roads as we can find.

    I will make the offer.....

If you are coming through Oamaru and you would like a bed for the night, give me a call.

Your bike will have to share the garage with my Harley and Oamaru on fire is Friday night. I will be shooting the 25 pounder there.

Is there anyone heading down from Auckland or there abouts that wants to ride together? Thinking about leaving Thursday returning Tuesday. Might check our Oamaru on Fire Friday night as inlaws live there. Then up via west coast to Nelson. #5 for me

See you at the Ferry Peter. Think it's #5 or 6 for me, But haven't been to one since the Eighties.

Found this on Utube (1988 Rally) brought back a few memories of the gear and bikes used then.

I think I'll miss it this year, but maybe I'll do a ride to somewhere warmer, like the coro loop.

Yep but it was a good trip. Think my tent didn't even have a one piece floor in it back then.
