your 100% right Billy, but there is nothing on the MNZ website about it either, (or at least on the front page, or under online voting, i gave up looking after that)
of other interest is the constitutional changes put forward, wanting more board members, and a longer term for the president that can only be an ex board member,
You are correct, this isnt an MNZ website.
But i thought it would be abit pointless asking MNZ if they had seen an email that they have sent.
If i wanted an answer from MNZ i would have sent a telegram. I was curious to here from members, and since i dont have access to everybodies contact details i thought this would be the best place to ask a question.
I received the first one, but don't appear to have received the second.
As for the constitutional change remit - I have no problem with increasing the numbers on the board - but I am not keen on having ONLY ex board members eligible for president - It may be that a completely new governing body IS required at some stage -!! As for extending the term - if the president is doing a good job he will probably get re-elected and provide the consistency mentioned in the reasons.
Who's going to the AGM ??

Ah well, there's your problem you see. Out of touch with the yoof of today.
If the house was on fire, they would first AskFM if anyone can see if the house is on fire;
then they would respond that just 'cos my house is on fire I'm not gonna kill myself;
then they would google what to do in case of a fire;
then they would post on Facebook that their house was on fire today and it was totally intense and we didn't know what to do;
then someone might post back on their wall Why not call the Fire brigade?
then they would google the phone number for the fire brigade;
then they would txt them that the house was on fire;
but they would have txt'd the local fire house, not the emergency line and get no response;
then they might google the emergency number;
by this time 200 teenagers had turned up cos' it was on Facebook that something was happening at JimmyJoes house;
by this time the really ancient neighbours, who just turned 28 by the way, would have called 111;
and the Fire and Police have turned up, been abused by the teenagers gathering on the street
and ahh screw it, I'm too tired to write any more........ (if you catch my drift).

I didn't need to contact the office, i got the email twice, (i am on two of their databases, member and offical) and it got forwarded to me from my club as well)
but the discussion on the constitutional remit if very valid on a site that has a number of MNZ members frequent it, (i would not bother starting a thread on the presidential election again, the last 2 times it has degenerated into a mess pretty quickly)
just because some officals of MNZ dont want any matters discussed on here, does not mean we can not, i respect some things like accident details and wild rumour should be kept of here, but discussing this is certainly not anything like that,
I'd be interested to know of the MNZ members on here, who bothered to look though the accounts as well,
