    Hmmmm.

I wouldn't answer the door for the next few nights if I was you. He might be a tad upset at that comment.

Sorry, I thought you knew what you were talking about when you first raised the point.

    My bad.
    Certainly those people qualify.
They are also the veterans of the virtually continuous war the US has waged since it's inception (save the four year period when Jimmy Carter was President).
They are also all the people who are trained to kill people - all ex-service personnel and those trained by private individuals and organisations.

The gang-bangers driving the streets of LA a dozen years ago shooting people on the street for fun may have contemporaries.
I have no desire to personally verify that.

My point was, and still is, that The United States of America is a very dangerous place because of the training and indoctrination of a large sector of the population.
For this reason one would be prudent to be very circumspect when dealing with any hot-head getting in your face.
    Simple, relevant and true.
Atheism and Religion are but two sides of the same coin.
One prefers to use its head, while the other relies on tales.

I personally have felt safer in "BAD" parts of various US cities than I have out the front of Manukau mall. True story.

Replace Manakau with 2 - 3 other NZ cities and I concur.

I've never been to the states. But I very nearly didn't get out of my car to go buy a drink, from a dairy in Otara.

It was like a scene from once were warriors! Not some where a skinny (at the time) white guy wants to do his Christmas shopping that place!
