sweet ride,
initially it looked like a bigger bike maybe some sort of motard? someone mentioned a 125 power plant and I thought that was the HP !?! ha!
ok so its a 125 single. Still cool
And a little (group) of boys waits.......
The Grom looks like fun. BIKE magazine did their "road" test in a skateboard park. The tester looked as if he had a ball.

Here is a ride report from a guy who rode from Portland to Alaska on a Grom. Not a big write up but shows what can be done on a small bike.

I Test rode (and my that i mean rode one no qualifications or vast experience to compare to) the other weekend at the Honda road show at Botany Honda.
Was a fun little bike. 4 speed manual gets up to 70km/h pretty quick then kind of dies off (Supposedly can do 90km/h)
Is quiet a small bike and you dont realize untill you sit on it.
Suspension is very soft, and the bike being just over 100kg is easy to move.
Riding it was strange. When you are going you dont see any of the gauge or handle bars relay. Just a big open void in front of you. It feels if you are leaning a long way when you are cornering (even tho i wasnt)
Would defiantly say it would be a fun toy or a preferred option over a scooter if you were comuting around town.
Below is a Pic of my brother just after test riding it (6ft tall for reference)
So.... I hear that cyclespot in Barry's point rd have just had some Groms come in.
I may just have to go have a look at one.
Hi all,
I bought one of these puppies on the weekend, and had my first ride yesterday and to work today and must say the bike handles really well and feels very grounded.
I'm really enjoying it. I'm only 172cm tall and weigh just over 60kg, so I can probably push it a tad harder than most
Anyways, I recommend it.
Now, onto modding it.
Yeah heaps of videos and mods out there. Just ordered the tail tidy, new back light and front indicators.
Next in line will be the exhaust but then I'll wait with mods till it has had it's first service.
Good fun.
The youtuber "royal jordanian" uses one to commute, with the arapovich slip on it sounds ok imho, hilarious bike tho. Saw one in botany honda, i swear the bars only hame up to my mid thigh hahahaha tiny bike!!!!
Old Thread.
But.
Have also now brought one (so has my brother) 400ish KM on it now from new.
It manages 100-105 on the flat about 95 up a hill (183cm and 85-88kg)
I have used it to commute to work including motorway but more so just have it as a second bike as a toy. Heap of fun and hard to ride and not smile.
