I like buying out of the UK vs the US: most of them will ship HM The Q Royal Mail (cheaper and in my experience very reliable).
Just be careful that the sites allow you to view the VAT EXCLUSIVE price, then add the shipping to that. I bought a pair of boots from Motolegends and didnt look hard enough, thought the price would reduce when I said I was outside the EU, didnt notice that it hadnt, added the postage and then when it arrived it was over the $400 threshold. My fault (I pressed the "pay now" button), but I dont think the website was very clear or set up for "out of EU" ecommerce But the difference was substantial: the GST and biosecurity levy and such they wanted to charge me was $170: taking that pair of boots up into the stratosphere. I had an email correspondence culminating with "I am rejecting the shipment and disputing the credit card charge" at which point they agreed to pick up those costs. That was impressive customer service. Just a heads up.

Yeah I was looking at that part of it ... I am looking at this place as well http://www.aa16.co.uk/store/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi .... Nice cans for cheap !! check them out
I got a set of MetalGear front and rear discs for the RGV last year. I hadnt heard much about them but they were much cheaper than OEM or EBC's and were Aussie made over the Chinese shit on ebay/trademe. Have done a track day and some decent road rides with them and theyve held up perfectly fine. I was talking to Cycletreads about them and they said they use them as an alternative OEM replacement on bikes that come through needing new discs and have had no issues.
Getting them for a good price in NZ is a bit of a bugger though, I priced them up on metalgears website and on trying to purchase directly they put me through bits4bikes.co.nz, which put an extra hundy or so on the total price. Fuck that. I was planning on buying from metalgear website, send to my dad in brissy then get them sent to me in NZ and they still would have been cheaper than that fucking bits4bikes shithole website.
Fortunately after throwing my toys bits4bikes sold me the discs through Cycletreads at the price quoted on the metalgear website, which was good. It just fucks me off having a middle man taking a massive cut to do fuck all. /endrant
Good discs though.
OP, no point replacing your discs unless theyre under size. Put that money into getting new pads, braided lines, flushing the old brake fluid out. A master cylinder rebuild kit if its toast and replacement caliper piston seals are optional but given the bikes age could be a good idea, then she'll stop on a dime.
