Fuel leaking?

Afternoon all

noticed today on my NC30 a fuel leak.

got a photo of it, just working out if its a DIY or if i better rip of the carbs and take them to some one

"guessing its coming out of the bottom of the float?

noticed there was a screw on the other side, read up in my workshop Manuel that it has a rubber o ring " could i just replace it and put back together??"

Often not even that. A leaking connection higher up ... and gravity does the rest.

The lovely additives that fuel companies use ... usually stain the area fuel is leaking from.

Check the float bowel drain plug and work UP.

just removed the carbs gave a wipe down and noticed fuel leaking from im guessing the gasket

guess a new gasket would cost a bit, can i just use a silicon gasket thats petrol safe????

yes just give it a chance to dry any try not to smear so much you get it in the carbs,
but in saying that they are usually orings

Put a proper gasket in there mate.

dont guess anyone here has a gasket or set for sale?

Should be at least 4 screws to find out what it does have and what the issue is. With the carb off is a good time to look.

A parts list/exploded view of the carb should be easy to find on the internet.

Find the part number in a workshop manual and then ring a honda dealer. Facts are better than guesses.

well it took a while but i

got a mate to make me a new rubber seal (honda way to $$$$)
put the cabs back together and installed them making sure they fit perfectly

well wat can i say
-get 200km before hitting reserve (before it was like 120km)
-not running rich
-air leak that i could hear has gone
-no more petrol running down the side of the bike

but now ooooo dam it, a fork seal is leaking
will be asking for sum help soon
