    Serious question

Thinking about buying a Lamborghini Countach. Anyone have any idea about the running costs? Anyone imported one....?
Nervous about expertise here in NZ.

I have 3, 1 mint one and 2 rough ones i brought for spares. Running costs are the same as a Mazda 121.

Hard on clutches I heard. Check to see how often you'd need to replace them.

Wouldn't be cheap, especially when something need replacing. The car would probably pass everything except petrol stations.

Didn't they make farm tractors as well?

Are you sure it's not 3 Mazda 121's you've got?

I think you are getting confused with Lambretta.

huge running costs...in the old money i bet they will be 15-20mpg(or less).I dont think they are particularly sophisticated cars but i bet parts are rare and pricey.i wouldnt think there is anyone in NZ who knows much about them. Were there any sold here?

    15mpg? You'd be lucky.
There are a few in the country. Not a hugely practical vehicle, but who cares? If you can afford to import it then you can afford to run it

To be honest, the diablo is a better buy. Has better entry and exit ergos plus rear vision. But the countach is more manly.
