There is no way to describe how intensely jealous I am that you have seen Tin Lizzy Live, I'd take a beating to be able to see them.....never mind, can't have everything aye.

I had a VHS of them playing Live, in 73 I think it was, which was cool, but the sound sucked, there was this cool little jam/ditty about goin down to mexico which I have never heard anywhere else......

It was a funny one - free concert put on by a radio station on the steps of said opera house. Me and JR rode in. I think I had an XS1100 at the time. some dickhead started throwing full cans of coke at/into the crowd - so I whacked him - and it turned into a scene from 'blazing saddles' from there. He got me fair in the kisser with a full, open can on the rebound. I reeled out of it, but JR planted a beeeeauty on him.

When it all settled down It was a kinda defining moment - bleeding moderately through the refrain of 'boys are back in town'.

Punk was dead. Rock and roll is king.

god .. i cant tell you how many concerts ive seen.. (Floyd, Zepplin, Eagles, Sabbath, Maiden, Frampton, the list goes on...)
