I don't reckon it would cost that much. Depends on how they ship it. If they unstep the wheels and forks that would go in a pretty small crate and shipping is by cubic volume. See if they do a kitset (some assembly required!!) to help keep the shipping costs down. I would estimate about $600 inc. insurance. Depends on whether or not you think that is an arm and leg's worth of money.

Get lots of quotes for shipping and try and organise the shipping from here.

I would try Grace shipping first and then Excess Baggage. Had good experiences with both of them, shipping my FIAT to England and back again. (Full of crap like drum kit, riding gear, winter clothes, stereo )

Try International Freight Forwarders - you may find they have container or deck spade to get the bike over.....this way they will treat the bike as backfill and won't charge you the earth as any money they get is bottom line and usually readies. Just make sure you get appropriate docs.

Don't forget to factor in taxes etc when it lands.

The other option is to get a professional bike transportation firm (or the company) to pack it for you - wheels, bars etc off.....approach some US bike companies who specialise in INternational Bike Tourism......they will know who are the best to ship bikes around.

Also - speak with U-Sissies - as they often ship the Harleys to OZ etc - and they will know which companies to use for bikes.

Too much! but what price can ya put on good fun right? the bikes vary in price anywhere between $500US all the way up to $10,000US.... do a search on ebay.com, just do a search for minibikes and all will be revealed..... not cheap, but i reckon it's more than worth it.
