Hah! munted my mums frypan slice when i was a teen. Flipping the top with the top of another full bottle was always the way, then we started to wear a large flat buckle on our belts usually with Triumph or Norton on it as was the fad in the 70's, or we just guzzled from twist top flagons, oh those were the days These day we poofs with the small bottles just unscrew the top, it really is an easy thing to master.

Cooking's fine and ensures your survival, my mrs uses the smoke alarms to let her know when things are ready, the Beer however; should be brought chilled, opened and in the stubby holder of your choice, before she brings your slippers.

    That's how Jody cooks too.

As for the beer, standby. Trying to tell her to get me one now

Nope, none for me tonight now.

To be honest I am quite thankful that the bottles got smaller and the drinkers got 'lighter'. Road toll where is and all.
Back in the bad ol' days when I sold the big fellas @ the kumara pit. I often feared riding home and getting taken out by a customer whom "Only had 3 beers!" but couldn't see past the nose of their kingswood.
