    Sweet mods on your 250

so i recently brought my first bike, a 08 ninja 250, and i dont by any means claim it to be anything that its not, but me being me iv begun to do a few wee mods, of which im very happy with, i find it funny when i say to people oh i just done this or iv put in one of these and people say why bother its just a 250, well im done with that, so heres a thread were fellow 250 riders can show there sweet mods that there stoked with, ill pop some photos up when the weather is a bit better but so far i have done

    cnc adjustible levers
    tinted aftermarket double bubble screen
    removed pillion footpegs
integrated led tail light with turn signals, and removed rear indicators
diy tail tidy, soon to start stage 2 as mounts for indicators no longer required
k&n air filter, impressed at the difference a $50 part can make to the wee bike

so show and tell your little bits you add or take off your bike to make it your own

mm, ok, seems an ok think to express.
08 Keeway Supper Shadow 250 cruzier.
    Removed pillion seat
    Fitted windscreen
Replaced stupid plastic headlamp with steel unit off of a metric cruzier. ( 35/35watt to 55/65 watt increase)
Oxford heated hand grips with ignition relay.
Drilled mufflers to open exhaust, 8x8mm holes in bottom muffler 4x8mm holes in top muffler.
= small power increase, better sound. without need for re jetting. 17hp to 18.5 hp. but better rev range.
Front cog replace 15t t0 17t better open road cruising , improved economy. 74mpg
Roller chain replacement, quieter chain noise , longer distances between adjustments.
1 range hotter NKG sparkplugs for running on the colder winter mornings.
    mmm./ yeah

FYI if you are still running your pillion seat you will need your pegs to pass a WOF....

I have done way too much to my 250, turned it into a unreliable heap of crap, fast though.

    Aftermarket chambers
    Aftermarket silencers
    Carbon reeds
    New ECU/CDI
    Skimmed and o-ringed heads
    Bigger carbs
    Rear shock
    Single ring pistons
