I shall try to put into 2 large coke bottles if that's easier to carry. Takes about 48-72hrs to make.
What's the point in living if you don't feel alive?

Toying with ones mortality shouldn't be this much fun.

Usually a triple batch lasts the flat about a week.

    Road condition report for yah

Did this section of your proposed route last weekend & found the following hazards which you will need to be aware of,

    a) moss covered parts of road in the shade
    b) shiny bits of tar here & there
    c) early afternoon will bring sun strike on some corners
    d) road quality is OK I'll give you a update closer to the time

the area of concern at this time of year is Ongarue to Waimiha road which will be greasy & slippery on a good day but still rideable as long as YOU ride to the conditions

I'll be going through Ohura in the weeks coming so can give you up to date report on roads when I do... these are some awesome roads with scenery to boot you just need to keep your wits about yah

    Cheers for now

Thanks for that, I was contemplating on a wee trip myself before the due date but no real need... I have added the points to post #4
Encountered a moss laden road between Mangakino/Te Awamutu...slightly wet/damp conditions but no drama because (as you state) we rode accordingly.
This sort of information is very helpful indeed for obvious reasons. The sun is low in the sky and overnight dampness can be there all day.
To combat sun strike, I have a strip of black insulation tape at the top of my visor, have done on all my helmets, works a treat.

Clean visor, allow a longer piece than just enough, place tape at the top just on the internal padding line. Try helmet on, if you can see light adjust, by repositioning the tape. Cut off excess tape with scissors.
Tip: don't stretch the tape on but be firm enough with it to stop any air small bubbles. I just use a rag to rub it down.

It peels off easily enough so no real drama.
