    Hahahaha. I'm sure you're right.

Someone that has the patience to put up with bucket racers believing they race the countries premier class, is welcome to ride my bike when it's finished.

If there is one thing we've learned Drew, is it will never be finished, but before then we will endure brain damage while you whine like an old woman about how it is too expensive and how you are really too good for buckets but perhaps people should give you stuff, which will never get used,
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

I haven't whined about the cost of buckets for a long time. Due to realising my attitude was flawed, and everyone is more than welcome to race the best machine they can afford or are willing to pay for. As with all classes.

I don't expect anyone to give me stuff, I asked what people had lying around not in use. At the time I was broke and really wanted to just get the bike out there for some fun.

It might never be 'finished', but is any bucket? It will be going though, and should someone I like want to ride it, it's there for them any time they like. Is more bikes out there not a good thing?

I am not too good for bucket racing, I have never said such. I have made stupid comments and been shown the error of my thinking many times. It's pretty much how I roll. There is certainly no malice in what I say...Most of the time. When there is I'm talking specifically, and to people I trust.

With the exception of pipes, I have everything I need to make the bike quite good. From what I've seen of buckets. It won't keep up with the likes of your bike should it ever complete a meeting, or maybe even the 50 which is a fuckin rocket all things considered. But I hope it rides well, and with a decent rider can run front pack.

Cheers for your thoughts, jog on.

Will I win, or could I win?

Hard to say, but I certainly don't race anything with any other intent.

With some seat time I would get the hang of riding small bikes with vague feedback, and with enough setup time the feedback would come anyway. But there's an investment of time, that I'm currently not willing to commit.

None of that detracts from wanting eventually, to put together a decent bike. I offered to get it sorted for a guy should he want to ride it, but he's unable to commit to that too. So it sits idle for now getting no better or worse. As I'm sure many a bucket does all over the country.

Sounds like Bayden Sprozzen's thoughts when he showed up at a mid 90's Ohakea Bucket GP with a total shitter thinking he was going to clean up. He left shortly after the first practice...

FFS Drew, at least talk up a shit storm how you would smash everyone. Far too realist answer for a mair. Disappointed.

I said my bike wouldn't keep up with Dave's 100, and possibly his 50.

Learn to read if you're gonna try and troll would ya.

There's nothing to talk up. If I ever do get out there, Malcolm and I have a standing bet for beer. Allowing me some time in the seat to wrap my tiny brain around it all.

That's as 'up' as I'm gonna talk it, with regards to buckets I'm afraid.

Anyone wants to come post '90s carbed class, I'm happy to bet the loser pays the entry fees though.

Probably ran out of cable ties knowing Bayden.

Actually I haven't seen him the last couple of meetings, but his latest bike, although tuned pretty averagely, looks quite nice.

Tell you the truth I am sort of scared. I have never riden anything proper fast on a track. But I spoz it has got a brake disk on both sides so that makes it all better, right?
