A nooby question. What generally causes a high-side ?? Watching the vid obviously they start with the bike getting out of line but if it is a slide that should end up in a low-side.
On my last ride down 22 (2 wks ago) I came flying (for me) around a corner & lost it both front & rear. First reaction "fuck - back off the throttle" immediately followed by " no that's wrong leave the power on'
The bike flicked up bloody viciously throwing me up, snaked around for a second then steadied & I dropped back down into a cornering position & carried on still wondering what the f--ks going on & trying to steady my sphincter muscle.

I've high-sided once due to cold tyres on a cold track and it happens so fast there's not a lot to do about it. As fast as I could say one two after just touching the throttle I was up in the air looking down at the bike. My reaction times weren't fast enough to prevent the resulting broken collar boneOriginally Posted by trev

I've been flicked off once in a near high-side (the bike continued down the track without me) and almost 3 times now on the R6...best defence is good hot tyres and a steering dampener.
Did you find it by any chance ??Originally Posted by Brian d'marge
