Bitches dont like the twitchy, micrometer like throttle at slow speeds.
It's not the throttle John, it's your old worn out peanut trying to comperhend the newer faster respone over the SP, either your far too old and past it, or it's just another learning curve, if someone your age can learn new things that is?
Dude i would'nt mind those settings. Had my suspension set up at cycletreads, and i think its a bit hard for NZ backroads, i get thrown all over the road on bumpy sections
Sixpack, no offence meant here, but with the speed you're at, at the present time, changing the settings wont offer nearly as much help as riding the thing, i haven't touched mine and you know how quick i can get along, i think the same goes for WT, he hasn't touched his much if any and he's faster than me.
Getting bounced around is just the way it is, i get thrown around all the time when i'm hitting bumps, (spesh those speed bumps out side skools and shit, what were they thinking putting them there!!!!)(PT), hate to think what a midget like WT has to deal with, you're on a superbike with a plate, if it's comfort your after the GSXR is not the bike for you. But i know you love the GSXR so keep going to the track and riding the road and expanding your experiance and abilty and you'll understand it's just the way it is.

Haven't seen either of you's ride so I cann't say much on that .But myself I had to change my bike a fair bit so I could ride it to my speed's round here . Our roads are very tight, twisty & bumpy so you have to have your bike set up right & standard was quite away from this could be different up North on those flat Towny road's . Bike time will help get use to how the bike feels .

In light of developments - maybe a little of each.
Cranked up 6000k in 8 weekends - the 4 runs over the Rimutakas finally had me coming to grips with the feel of the tires and I found I could get the pegs down with no dramas - the throttle twitchiness didnt go away though!. Made a good tourer - zip together ventura packs saw it stable at 255K and the top gear roll on was brilliant - 3 secs to pass a car at 90k, roll on, pull out, pull in, proceed....
Brakes were good - powerful and effective, but left me feeling, slightly lacking, - they felt soft. I beleive the K4's went to 1 peice pads per side, wereas the K3's had 2 pc pads - the K3's have got a slightly better feel to them - just slightly crisper.
Steering definately not as quick as a gxxer 750 - had to muscle it slightly more from lock to lock, but still commendably responsive and very stable in high speed sweepers - ended up with, generally Senseis settings with the rear adjusted for my lighter weight. The not quite so quick steering and, probably some brain fade, contributed to her demise on Highway 22, when I (i think), zigged, but didnt zag in time.......
A replacement has now been obtained - same as before - K4
Engine on Becky is harsher, but she hasnt got the twitchy throttle response of the old one, so thats good. Unfortunately, I cant ride much yet, due to slowly healing lower leg injuries, but looking forward to cracking up many more miles.....
- He felt that his whole life was some kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it.
Yup that black K5 had your name all over it. Want to try a TRE whilst I am incapacitated Jon? I thought it made a measurable difference to low speed fueling...piss easy to fit! Contact me if your interested.
