    1920s Dodge promotional video

    Far out ... this doesn't look like a fun ride ... but bugger all modern cars would be able to do this (Some SUVs maybe .. )

    I think the same guy built the roads around our place....

    But seriously those old girls were expected to handle a bit of rough going.

    Amazing how far light weight plus narrow tyres to cut through the gunk will get you. Cyclocrossers say the same thing to MTB'ers

    Enjoyed that,makes my ute look about as useful as a 3rd ball on a Greyhound.Went on and looked at a few other clip ie 1950s Dodge production line and a clip showing everyday life in the states during the 50s,all those beautiful old cars..

    Cool video! Reminded me of all the old footage IOM races they show in the cafes there while you are eating your brekkie. Sped up jerky motion gravel racing where they crash but just get up and carry on. Classic.

    When I was young....... a Model A Ford was a common sight in the ski field carpark. Wheel diameter is definitely a factor.
