I love this answer, to the current last question.
Q "Factory HP figures are done on a test bench with a test engine, HP figure measured at the crank. In the real world, a K9 1000 is around 170 plus or minus. A can on a 4 to 1 link on the header will do little to change that, unless mapping is done on the dyno. My K9 really does make 200. Ex Robbie Bugden ,a bike he won the NZ Superbike title on.That engine cost more than your bike to build. Consumer gauranties act obliges you be accurate in your description. Post your dyno figures".
A "So I'm 100% right then.. "in the real world" these are approx 160-165at the wheel hp, I have said 200hp at the crank..if you use the approx calculation of 15-18% to calculate wheel-crank hp you are looking at a medium average of +26.81 hp extra which gives you 162.5 wheel hp+26.81hp crank conversion + extractors and pipe and filter at approx 5-10hp and here we are at 199.31hp at the crank! .. P.s This is an auction not a forum go txt ya mate Robbin bugden and see if he wants a play date".
At 18%, it still isn't 200 ponies. And trust me, you don't get 5 horses from a pipe and filter without mapping the ECU differently.
Yeah .. he sounds like a tosser who knows bugger all ..
I wonder, because he seems to know bugger all about the bike, if he is selling it because he scared himself shitless on it ... if he rides it as badly as he talks about it ...
"So if you meet me, have some sympathy, have some courtesy, have some taste ..."
My experience is a fast bike only feels fast until some prick passes you going a few km's faster, then said fast bike feels like a slow dog
And yeah, 200 hp at the crank for a pipe n filter, ya dreamin mate.
When I purchased my 04 ZX10R, I was told the seller had babied it. He's describing the bike, saying it kills the R1s, and he's disappointed he's only had it up to 270. I'm thinking shit, no way was this babied.
Then he shows me the rear tyre, and says, but I never could wear away the last inch on the side of the tyre
Later on I swapped the tyres when worn for something with a better profile... the stockers were too flat and I ran off the edge too much![]()

Rego is on hold and she will need a new wof.
There is some minor rust but all in all the bike is a good runner. She recently had an oil change so is all ready to go through a wof.
