I've got loads of spares and I'm bringing them to New Zealand (troymclee)

    Hi guys,
I did post something on this before,
i'll be coming to Auckland for higher studies.

I run my own business in my home country and i've got alot of contacts in italy .
This is where i get my spares and bikes from,

I've got a complete yamaha r1 2008 and a ducati hypermotard 2008 without the engine and frame,

and italy we've got complete bikes, but will be shipped in CKD condition

    Questions -

1.Since i'm not a citizen of new zealand will i be eligible to import such parts and what would the tax imposed be ?

2.Is it possible to import motorcycles in CKD condition (completely knocked down ) and assemble in auckland, customs rules (any one working in customs?).

If someone is willing to help me out,i will make sure to give alot of stuff for free.pm me
or send me a msg on fb ( /PetKKo)

Thanks guys this is not a business,i just wanted to share the benefits over there.
    currently i'm riding a 2010 Street triple R

    Shehan (sri lanka ) .

Do the cylinders of the R1 have cocanie stuffed down them?

Bikes would be fine for importing if they were complete but I don't know about the CKD condition. Tax would be huge and customs would hold them for ages most likely.

Why do you list a bike for which you have the front end an wheels only and then tell us you ride a Street triple.

Believe me,on KB people notice shit like that and it's likely to become the main point of the thread.

I mean what the fuck is a bike with no frame or engine anyway ?

    Welcome to KB.

Hey if you deposit $5k into my bank account I'll help you out with your imports. My friends in Nigeria have lots of experience in these matters.

A bike without an engine and frame.......some would say without those major components what you in fact have is a few loose spare parts

That could be a complete bike without the components that have the identifying numbers on them. Possibly very suspect....

sorry for the late reply ,i just wanted to know if you could bring a bike in parts and assemble it and register them over there
as for the hyper motard and r1 engine and frame, they aren't missing
Customs in my country detained them because we are not allowed to import engines above 450 cc so almost every bike sent here is in ckd condition ,assembled and then registered
