Why do people video their daily commute?

Saw a scoot behind me today in my rearward view mirror (whilst in my motorised cage) with a Go Pro camera on his helmet. It's not the first time I've seen someone who appears to be videoing their daily commute. I'm not against it, who cares, but it seems a bit wierd, why would you bother? p.s. if it was any of you on a lil yellow scooter please increase your following distance, I don't appreciate you tailgaiting me, thanks...

Simple reason for me. I filled in about 20 of the online dob in a driver forms and felt like I was pissing in the wind. Seriously that system serves no meaningful purpose as it makes no difference.

Having a video that the cops can see of the complete arseholes out there, makes their jobs easy and they will actually do something.

Surely it's in case a big scary evil Cager crashes into them and they need the footage for the police?

There is a very small percentage out there that are deliberately dangerous. If they did similary dangerous things in other situations the public, popo, media etc would be screaming for blood.

For a reason that I've yet to understand, it is OK to behave that way if you're on the road. Victims who trip out and road rage, etc are villified.

Maybe some people see more dangerous acts of driving than I do, I've never had so much dangerous stuff happen to or around me that I decided it was a good idea to log my journeys with a video camera.

Coz most motorcyclists can barely remember their name let alone the 6 characters that makes up the license plate of the person who cut them up even though they were indicating their intentions.
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

That's why you need to keep a supply of ninja rocks handy to throw at stupid cagers to teach them a lesson.

That probably doesn't matter too much, as long as you throw them with reasonable force it should break windows.

They are all wankers who are going to post on here or Youtube showing how bad a rider they are. Woohoo. There are shit drivers and riders out there. Deal with it and move on with your life or buy a GoPro and wank on about it.

Russian riders excepted. Some of their stuff looks a bit more interesting than seeing a Holden Commodore creep over the give way line by 5mm.
