Methinks the weatherman's got it right

After the flooding of recent days its now snowing here down South,i reckon we are in for a rough time of it as theres still plenty water lying about.Had to go up to Timaru yesterday and the road north of Oamaru was closed then, had plans to go up tommorow but cancelled as even if the snow doesnt close more roads i reckon the flooding will.Had to laugh yesterday at the many cars parked along the detour road (7 mile road),was talking to a bloke trying to help people out who had just about given up as drivers just couldnt grasp the slow down signs and literally plunged into the water only to come to a halt with flooded cars.Am wondering what its like down in Dunedin as i guess if we here have snow then they probably have alot more. Not much we can do about it eh,fires going and Bourbons in the fridge, time to hunker down.At least its not calving/lambing time just yet.

I hear ya mate but to be honest i am over it,season finished at the works for me on Friday and i thought i would take 2 weeks off and do stuff round the section as theres a big wattle tree to drop and cut up and plenty of other things, since i finished its done nothing but piss down and am going a bit stir crazy.Finished painting the hallway the other day so i have no promises to fulfill to the boss. With this weather i dont fancy pissing off on the bike anywhere.

Yep friends of ours in Kingston said the snow came in thick and it's so cold the snow is instantly sticking to the windows! 2 cm's already.

I've rided in snow before. I've even rided underwater before. I've rided on ice. It's now my turn not to have to
