    98tls.... Found the signage at the pond in the park this year quite amusing. Think someone took exception to the "Lake Tonga" name last year....

    I only saw it after it had blown over and was mostly under water so never got to read it.Today i saw no sign of it (xcuse the pun).Just got in from being out at Maheno,was pissing down out there...

    Sick of this rain. The drought was more enjoyable. At least you could ride.

    Thursday night's (20/06/13) freight train storm hitting Welly was more a train wreck. Trees and fences flattened in our street. Lost a small pine I planted years go. Maybe it's just resting lying down on the job?
    Here's some pics of the park at the end of our street where over a dozen tall pines sadly lost the plot. There's a house under there somewhere slam dunked by those trees.

    Skis are preferred in that situation but, if you judge the weather wrong when you go out to the letterbox in the morning they could be called 'slippers'.
