Going from the stock 36mm carb to a 40...will clean the cyl up...so it should run like a raped ape. Using titanium fastners where I can.Attachment 294257Attachment 294256Attachment 294255Attachment 294254

Hey Crasher you going to Ardmore for the VMX on March 16 ? Got my 84 mxc going today turns out it was a loose coil earth wire giving me grief a bit of tape and good to go.
The track at Ardmore will be fun esp if John waters it as per usual [150-200mm of mud] and there's not a lot of grass to ride on, I'll be there for the fun/carnage.

Nah won't have the 400 done by then...and away in Tauranga as well. Still planning to be ready for JO though! Glad your KTM was as easy fix mate!

Thx Crasher sometimes it's just the little things that spoil your day, got bits coming from Andre in Austria to swap a new rear brake pedal, tank decals, fork dust seals, headlight bulb carrier, air filters etc.
These old girls need some time to source parts for, not doing a full resto just a tidy up and keep the patina of a 30 yr old bike.
