Had Carl at Cemeck Engineering in Petone make me a sweet cable clamp as I didn't want to butcher the Fox Forx...he also made me a new axle in stainless. Does great one off work for a very reasonable price. About to do the final push and finish the fucking thing!!! Going from the stock 36mm carb to a 40...will clean the cyl up...so it should run like a raped ape. Hey Crasher you going to Ardmore for the VMX on March 16 ? Got my 84 mxc going today turns out it was a loose coil earth wire giving me grief a bit of tape and good to go.
The track at Ardmore will be fun esp if John waters it as per usual [150-200mm of mud] and there's not a lot of grass to ride on, I'll be there for the fun/carnage.

Thx Crasher sometimes it's just the little things that spoil your day, got bits coming from Andre in Austria to swap a new rear brake pedal, tank decals, fork dust seals, headlight bulb carrier, air filters etc.
These old girls need some time to source parts for, not doing a full resto just a tidy up and keep the patina of a 30 yr old bike.
