There was an older chap on a YW50 who did the Child Cancer ride from Wanganui to Taupo in March. The bike went very well.

Put it on a trailer and tow it down to Thames. I'm not into racing, so if a riding companions bike sits on 50-60kph, then I'm happy to sit at that speed.

If you're inviting me, thanks but, alas, I have a prior commitment that weekend. Enjoy your ride.

You will learn after a while that your quoted post should not be taken too seriously. He takes an 'alternative' view on most things in life.

Just woken up. ( I work nightshift ) I'll take buggsy up to the sv stn soon and let him overdose on 91 octane. My problem with riding a scooter that's tanked up with gas, is he wants to burn up half that tank on the way home.

1.2k home to petrol stn, 60k, petrol stn to home. This Wednesday/Thursday are days off, so weather permitting, Buggsy and I are off to Rotorua.

I've only ever used 91. Bike always starts okay, and goes like stink ( well like a 100cc stink), I'm still running the original plug in it.

Hey, there are still adventurous scooterists out there. Take the 80+ year old who did the Central Plateau Scooter Challenge in March. He then carried on to see his rellies..... and can't wait to do his third run in 2015.

Saw an adventuress young chap on a scooter this morning, pissing down rain in nothing but his school uniform. Damn he looked miserable.
