    ok lets add this up

    a car designer

    2 car companies

    and a materials company

    are designing a bike

    Now I wonder if this has happened before and I wonder if they were any good

    So it'll look good, then. But it won't be built by, ‘y'know, Lotus... which makes this more of an elaborate licensing deal. Rather like the Lotus F1 team.

    Sounds more like the Moto Csyz triple that was on Discovery a few years wanted to go GP racing the the rules changed again, see their now at the front end of electric bikes.
    That would be a better bet as the big manufactures aren't in that field for Lotus, Next it'll be Porsche.

    Should be a good bike if they keep to the old lotus spirit.
    Make it so light that it breaks..... then make it lighter.
