The worst I've gotten from lane splitting is some dude in the lane next to me shouting at the car behind me to push me off my bike. I guess he was a bit pissed he had to wait 5 sets of the lights and I hadn't. The person behind me was just "Are you serious?" lol.

I did have another dude get pissy and driving aggressively towards me after I called him a wanker for his shit house driving and speeding.

Ceramic tiles, about 15mm square, guaranteed to smash every bit of glass it hits (tried it out stripping out cars for demo derby). You don't have to throw it too hard to at least crack glass.

Are you sure it was road rage and not just a case of someone that doesn't like Hardleys.

I've been road riding since 1973 and have had two people get a bit pissed off with me and offer loud verbal advice along with much sign language an such.

One tried to run me over or what ever the fuck they thought they were trying to achieve, but they missed.

The other one jumped out of his car at some traffic lights and we had a short introduction in the middle of the lane.

Fuck em',,I really don't care now.

Just ride away an not be thinking about it 30 seconds later.

Too late mate, there are heaps of them out there already.

    Have you not watched TV/youtube?

Agreed. But let's not make the situation any worse than it already is.

I tend to avoid that stuff most of the time.

    Where were you?

I've seen this kind of thing on dominion rd a few times.. saw 2 young fellows on their bikes gesticulating at a car driver who declined to get out of his car :P

I had a guy in manurewa who tried to run me off the road (into the back of a parked car on the side of the road) - i managed to get up a driveway, across some grass (it was raining so it was muddy and slippery) nailed it up the footpath and back onto the road a few cars ahead. I saw it coming but someone else might not have.. I might not have, another day.

But I can only count a couple of times in the last couple of years.. I've seen as many if not more in my car.. or on my bicycle. One time in Pakuranga I nearly had to get out to rescue someone who was about to get their beats by someone with roadrage.. He saw me stopping and decided it wasnt worth the effort I guess - if I was in a rage i doubt I'd stop, but hey.

Manuka road in Glenfield. Mind you we've had our share of road rage incidents around dominion road with my wife in the car. She seems to have the knack for pulling her finger/honking the horn at exactly the wrong people.
