Well a wee update here to let you fellers know how its goin.
Yesterday after getting a piece of hose the right size and a good tank that has'nt got more rust in it than the hull of the titanic will have I balence'd the carbs which took a while cos I had only 2 stalks for the suction hose below carbs.
They were waaaaay out and it now starts and idles well and revs quick when ya punch the throttle.
Took it for a spin today and it is smooth on the throttle with good power so im getting some where

yer I just need to lose some weight now so I can actually sit on it
I do get the felling the left hand footpeg is about 5-10ml forther forward than the left when riding it and while not much it don't feel comfortable.
I should add that I got that felling on my last bike so don't think its the bike frame bent or anything stipud like that.
Going to make a peg out of steel and play around with the positioning to see if I can get it right then see if I can get someone to mill one up for me if that's at all possible?.

I made rearsets for my FZR, out of 12mm ally plate. With a hacksaw, drill, and coping saw. Piece of piss.yer I just need to lose some weight now so I can actually sit on it

Thinking about it I recon I could cut ,grind out a one from a block of alli myself if I could find a bit cheep
