Aye, there was a similar article in the Dom. The piece was hugely inflamitory, a real stitch up, and the comments following it were simply amazing. It did mention the 300+ assaults, (which was summarily ignored by all) and it did mention the shortage of staff.

They didn't link the two, though. Maybe they should have pointed out the number of staff on ACC, (past and present) as a direct result of having attempted to make a difference.

Not all problems are fixable. And of those that are teh govt is responsible for just a few.

Spot on. The present situation is not ideal, but it is better than the alternative of having such people in prisons.

On the flipside when people get the freedom and go on to kill themselves or others we can blame those who failed...

The great feat of the modern day is we can all go online and point fingers, sign online petitions, and blame others and pat ourselves on the back for doing our bit (pumping our egos) without actually contributing anything to making things different.

I got 10 minutes into that, got bored.

There are probably many researchers that are anti vaccines. Where are all their studies to prove the connection?

There's no anti-vaccination rhetoric in there at all. The study used to disprove the connection is discussed in the film as it is ripped apart by scientists as it broke from the scientific protocols set that guide every study in more than 1 place. Including the fact that the results were published 4 years late. As of last year, no vax v's anti-vax study has been done. The simplest of studies that all drugs go through i.e. placebo.

By all means choose not to watch it... but don't be surprised that it's boring as it's science being put on the block. I highly doubt even Katman wants that.

Well if your attention span doesn't last longer than that, don't be offended if your opinion is treated as a joke.

I didn't give an opinion. I stated that I thought the documentary that was supposed to be mind blowing was boring. Following that, I asked a question.

You know me. I get pissed off, never offended.
