Are you saying that every member of the pharmaceutical industry has been involved in such scandals? or even the majority of members?

Are you attempting to imply that there's never been a group of people of any size for which that hasn't been true?

As opposed to groups of people who've been responsible for saving more lives than any other?

Seems you're perceptions are seriously out of balance.

Does a 3 billion dollar court settlement sound like 'honourable endeavour' to you?

You need to do some better research, some of these drugs are on WHO Model List of Essential Medicines you dumass.
Ie the most important medications needed in a basic health system.
Its not the drugs that were the problem but how they were promoted dipshit.
Harley just had some big fines imposed on them, Yet i don't see you baying for their blood.
All told, Harley-Davidson has sold an estimated 340,000 illegal devices, according to the EPA.
Officials said Harley-Davidson also sold about 12,000 motorcycles between 2006 and 2008 that did not receive EPA emissions certification.
Replacing tuners or exhaust systems with items that are not compliant for the road is a common practice throughout the motorcycle industry.
Well using you logic it sounds like the whole motorcycle industry is totally corrrupt.

Are you saying that you don't recognise the fact that the settlement was high because the pharmaceutical company made so much money. They made so much money because they do a good job, and presumably still do.

A far more accurate comparison to the example of a drug company knowingly dumping a contaminated product on overseas markets would be if a motorcycle manufacturer knowingly continued to sell a model whose front brake was guaranteed to fail - instead of issuing a recall.

Have you ever heard of that happening?

And let's not forget that this isn't the only example of the pharmaceutical industry knowingly dumping a faulty product on overseas markets.

The same was done with the Dalkon Shield.
