Not quite sure you've got the gist of this education thing yet; accepting one's own errors is an integral part of the process. But look, since you've done really well by actually finding the article in question in its full text; I'll follow through on it's main point (that you neglected to even make, tbh I remain unconvinced you have read it yet) about "The risks from newer vaccines may outweigh the benefits: The likelihood of reporting a serious side effect from a vaccine reaction is greater than of suffering a serious complication from the disease in the 5 years before the FDA licensed the vaccine." cos that seems pretty damning if true.

Of course it is, for it to be otherwise is to impede learning. For example, today I learned that the VAERS database used by DeLong to make her conclusions about the statistical risk of harm from a vaccine is entirely user submitted, so there is no requirement for a medical diagnosis that the vaccine cause any adverse affect in the data used. So the data is utter garbage, as are any conclusions gained from it.

Doesn't matter. The reason it is garbage is because there is no verification of diagnosis, that's 1461 deaths, 2768 serious complications, and 7924 hospitalizations attributed to vaccinations which have never needed to be confirmed by any sort of medical professional. So address that reason as the content rather than the source which is, as always, inconsequential by comparison.

So to summarise, big pharma fucked up a few vaccines, which were then rectified through good science and logical argument. So there is a precedent for intellect and logic making a positive difference (in the removal of vaccines, obviously their provision to begin with has made a massive positive difference on the whole), is there a precedent for illogic and hysteria making a positive difference? I mean, that is the barrow anti-vaccers like yourself are pushing, so I just have to wonder why?
