Sounds very similar to what Andrew Wakefield has been saying for a very long time.

Is that what you are hoping for?

Clearly we are better able to cope than a 3rd world country, but past performance is a fairly good indicator of potential.

. . . In 1980, 2.6 million people died of it, and in 1990, 545,000 died; by 2014, global vaccination programs had reduced the number of deaths from measles to 73,000. Despite these trends, rates of disease and deaths increased from 2017 to 2019 due to a decrease in immunization. . .

No, but I suspect that you and a few others here might well be hoping for exactly that.

What better "we told you so" ammunition could you hope for?

And how many of those deaths occurred in 3rd world or developing countries that don't have the same standard of medical care, nutrition and sanitation that we do?

So Katman, of course you refused to have any vaccinations or inoculations prior to your trip to India?

Well you're a bit late to the party but yes, you are correct.

Well I'm jealous. We used to have a little yellow book in which were recorded all of the relevant vaccinations etc. It was grandly entitled International Health Certificate, HC8, or similar. Mine had just one vacant line remaining otherwise it was full, pages of injections all recorded in detail. The memoirs of a human pin cushion.

Would immunization have saved any or all those lives lost ... ??

Or do you think they actually died due to nutrition, sanitation or medical issues, and the fact they had measles was just a coincidence ... ??

Of course we are not hoping for that. Deaths so we could prove a point? That's inhumane.

Besides the We told you so is the overwhelming deaths that have already occurred.and the irreparable health damage. Only a madman would expect a different result.

Your argument is, well heck let's all have unprotected gloryhole sex. Modern medicine means your are far less likely to die from aids these days. Tax payer can pick up the tab.
