This vaccine might arrive earlier than we think. Dr Fauci said twelve to eighteen months, but there's a lot of very bright people around the world working very hard on this. There's a sure fire Nobel science prize up for grabs as well. A million dollars plus ain't to be sneezed at.

The testing process is bound to be accelerated too, and the result may be forthcoming in record time. It will need to be quick though because the world economy is stuck in freeze frame until the vaccine is available.

Look through history. Most of the "Great" discoveries were accidental. Going against what was the "Correct" principals and procedures.

If you can SEE what is happening ... it must be fact. WHY it is happening can be the mystery.

An untried (scientific) theory might happen. In theory it MIGHT work. But will it in practice ???

If it does, is the theory actually proved.. ?? or if it doesn't, is the theory wrong ... ??

You need to consider why it did (or didn't) work.

The principle of causation ... "the post-Cartesian attempt to see everything as governed by simple laws of cause and effect" ... the operation or relation of a cause and its effect.

Surveillance is watching to see what happens. Understanding why it is happening is the difficult part.

Understanding why the difference between expected result ... and why the actual result varies ... usually needs some degree of rational thought.
