I'm starting to wonder if the long held ethical approach that 'the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few' (apologies to Spock) behind modern medicine can survive the assertion of individual rights which seems to be becoming a more important consideration for a lot of people these days.

If the science wasn't so unquestionable, people wouldn't need to say "hang on a minute.". What took place during covid was a clusterfuck. From, the very well evidenced lies that it was going to protect you, to, the aftermath of those lies being pretty self-evident in everyday life even before the data was released as those vaccinated got and also died from covid with many more people people than usual complaining of heart problems post vaccination, to, "hide it all, quickly, someones using science to prove that we lied.". I don't necessarily see the individual as the problem.
