Well, your super vague question seemed to intimate to me that you wanted to discuss crystal healing which you maintained requires blind faith - I provided information rebutting exactly that, crystal healing complete with peer reviewed receipts. Lithium is not the only crystal to be used in medical circles either btw. (interestingly, take crystals and their "special properties" out of any modern medical diagnosis equipment, and it would not work at all either.)

Purely judging on emails I receive from my customers over the last 27 years, I would give a generous estimate that 25 to 30% of my customers would fall under your label of people using crystals for energy/healing type work going on blind faith. The rest of my customers fall under 2 other categories - "rock Hounds" This collector has a strong interest in geology, and most often like digging their own crystal. Usually they will purchase some specimens of sellers like me to fill out their collections. The other group are people that view crystal/mineral specimens as natural art, and collect them much like people would collect paintings etc. At the end of the day, I can only speak to my understanding of crystals - I will leave the psycho analyzing of people you have never met to you.

OK, so buried deep in the lithium information in my previous post was lurking this sentence. "How Lithium Works (Simplified) - Scientists still don’t fully understand the exact mechanism" (of how Lithium actually works). That is to say, scientists can do repeatable experiments showing that lithium is legitimately helpful in treating certain conditions satisfying the science to peer review level. However they do not know all the mechanics of why it works - which I find to be really, really interesting. Now the metaphysical crystal fans would point to that being where the magic is, I on the other hand believe that crystals do not have some sort of mystic power manifested purely out of some sort of "magic". My view is simply that humankind's knowledge of physics and other elements has not yet reached the point where science can explain the mechanics of how it works - yet.
Years ago I coined the phrase "Crystals - where today's magic is tomorrows science".

Now, addressing your hypocrisy statement, for me there is a very big difference between crystal healers having blind faith in getting a certain result with a crystal, and someone getting caught up in a vaccine conspiracy to the point where they feel they can discard all scientific research - make the choice not have to take a vaccine during a pandemic, no matter how serious that pandemic is. (think severe disability or death) and furthermore that they should have the freedom to wander among the people all the while passing on a preventable disease causing serious harm right through to death.

I can tell you this with 100% certainty - if things went apocalyptic during a serious life threatening pandemic and the rule of law broke down completely - if I were to see a devout anti-vaxxer approaching my family, no measure would be off the table in stopping said person in their tracks. The decision they made in essence forces me into a position of having to make my own decision in response.
