Great job. Personally I'm to much of a chicken to open rubbish bags. Probably watched to many thrillers... A long long time ago me and a friend did some geological fieldwork in a forest in the middle of nowhere in Germany. Found some big black rubbish bags far away from any public roads. Took us a while to find the courage to open them. Thankfully just full of old clothes...

I do look though if I can see anything moving or if I can hear anything. Volunteered long enough at the SPCA to know that humans can be that cruel.

I got in the local paper too for similar good citizen stuff. However, the council will tire of you and become nasty.

Apatheia. Or apathy. Probably good not to have guns. Maybe buy a batman mask and cloak and dropoff the rubbish by bicycle next time

I wouldnt worry about them complaining, or their neighbours.

But remember The Batman had many haters.

A note on the rubbish is a good idea, but I would still spread it about.

This they have already done, thanks to my father who caused them quite a bit of greif in the past over footpath issues, he made placards and billboards with things like "Gore district council are liars" and " The mayor is a joke" and stuff like that, which made it to the local papers. He got the footpaths fixed in the end though.
I have approached them about installing a new/extra driveway crossing onto my property, because we are not allowed to park on the grass verge along the roadside, but keep getting refused, council members dont turn up to discuss things when they say they will. Things like that. We have a big graveled area across the road where I used to park the freight liner, but am not allowed to do so by order of the council. I can build the crossing myself, as I have the skills and have even done work for the council installing footpaths and other digger work for them on their water system when their little digger could not handle it. I can pay for a new crossing, but they have blocked me at every turn. Not to worried about that though, one day I will do it anyway.
I dont know if they are being difficult on purpose or it is the paperwork that is the problem, Im guessing our roading manager is not a fan of mine because I walked into his office one day and told him to get off his fat lazy arse and come and sort out the problem like he said he would. And he even lives at the end of our street and said I am not allowed trucks there as I wake up the neighborhood in the early hours of the morning, which is fine and I accepted that, until I talked to the neighborhood about it, and the general feeling was, They did not have a problem with the trucks and the noise of me leaving at 2/3 oclock in the morning, but they all had a problem with the VF leaving at that time of the day, because they could hear it winding up all the way out of town.
RANT RANT, YAP YAP. I know, I know.
Back to the rubbish, I used to walk some of our local country roads picking up rubbish and taking it away, but because we dont have a tip any more, just a recycling center, it is quiet expensive to get rid of now so I approached the council to see if I could dump the stuff I picked up off the roads for free, alas, no can do. Reason, I could be dumping my own household rubbish along with it. Now this would be quite possible, but I assured them that our household produces very little waste, and we compost heaps and have a worm farm and chooks and other methods of reducing our rubbish.
No, sorry. So now the roads are building up with rubbish
AH well, todays a new day, and theres a bit of fight left in the old punk yet.

Maybe I just have too much time on my hands and need to work more and think of our beautiful environment less.

Well it is open court, but have been advised by the counselor yesterday to keep my answers simple and humour is something judges dont do apparently.
Probation service next tuesday(my birthday the bastwerds) to see about my suitability for home detention.
Drug counselor seems to think my drug problem is not really a problem for some reason.
Feel free to send donations though.

Make sure you take your shoe laces out, before going into court.

Who knows what you'll get up to if things don't go your way?

I think what they mean by open court is that they dont lock the doors after 10 am.
The whole thing is bullshit, but you are right, that is a whole new thread.

You deserve a bloody medal for doing this.

I walk down The Terrace to work every day and see loads of recycling bags ( full of non-recyclable rubbish ) dumped on the footpath, looks like a 3rd world fucking country.

The stuff is actually in recycling bags ( plastics, cardboard etc ), but these retarded clowns put non-recyclable shit in there and of course the council won't take it away as it's not recyclable. It tends to stay there for weeks and really stinks.

When I looked closer at the contents in the bags, I can see all sorts of asian lettering in there on the junk. This really annoys me as these migrants just dump their shit out on the street and when the council sends them letters to stop, the either can't read them or just plain ignore it.

Yeah, I used to ignore it. And then moan about it to others, but realized I was starting to sound like the rest of the fuckers in the world who dont give a shit about the environment. So I started picking it up, I get a bit of abuse from shitstains who think I am some sort of hobo bag man, but abuse is something I am used to and is sweet music to my ears.
I once got in trouble with an employer because I was parked at a job next to our biggest kids park in town, when these bogans turned up with their KFC. When they had finished they just dropped all their rubbish out the window, so I wound my window down in the truck and told them nicely to pick it up and put it in the bin that was right in front of their car. They told me to fuck off, so I got out and picked it up myself and reached through the window and started rubbing it in his hair, before they had a chance to drive off. Basterd rang my boss And he told me off.
I did tell him to wind his neck in though, or he would be digger practice when he stepped out of his office.
Damn, their right, I am fucked in the head reading back over that.
