MPs need to be bombarded with emails spelling out the fact that public opinion should not be so lightly ignored.

Why was it that the National Party moved to have the submissions that were to be presented to the select committee on animal testing suppressed?

Are the National Party involved in some underhanded deal with the drug manufacturers to provide them with cheaper testing options?

70,000 is not even the size of two electorates ... why would a Government take any notice? Spread that number across the whole country (1,000 per electorate) and it will probably not affect voting outcomes ... Governments can afford to ignore that because it's a low risk
