    Wheel bearing needed

    Does anyone know if CycleTreads do wheel bearings? Need a front one for my AN400.

    Any bearing supply house should be able to match them. Even lawn mower service shops are an ok source. Don't ask for the bearings by motorcycle brand, use the numbers on the outer race. (eg something like 6202-2RS, 6203Z, etc)

    it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

    Yeah I know - I usually use Auckland Bearing on the North Shore, but right now I don't have my tools and I need it done quick. Could do with a new tyre and pads too.

    You can get them online at Pyramid Parts here is a link to them http://www.pyramidparts.co.nz/produc...-wheel-bearing you will need x2 I am pretty sure they are all the same size for that model over the years, these ones fit the 06 model, but just ask the guys on the live chat if you are not sure they are good.

    just measure the OD & ID of the bearing... go into a bearing surplyer ..
    Tell them yer wan't a deep groove ball race in these dimentions...
    bearing number will start with a 6
    Chances are it will be one of these...
    6204 , 6304
    6203 , 6303

    6 = deep groove ball race.
    2 , 3 = bearing OD
    05 = ID "25mm"
    04 = ID "20mm"
    03 = ID "17mm"

    If yer want a bearing that will last buy FAG
