    Smile Howdy from the UK

First post so the bars open....what ya havin' ??

I was speaking to one of my wifes relations the other day who is over from New Zealand on buisness,Sadly hes not a biker so when i asked about biking in NZ he couldnt give me any answers....So one internet search later i end up here.....Cool site BTW

I live in Nottinghamshire so its only about a 15min ride out into Derbyshire for some decent roads to ride which i do on the 748....but my first love is riding on track so thats where the Gsxr comes in

Hopefully you'll be able to answer some of my (no doubt) stupid questions ?

Hi Scuffy. Welcome to the KB gargre.

Anyone with a Ducati is welcome. (Actually, anyone is welcome to be perfectly honest)

    Ask away with the questions.

South Island roads are absolute magic.

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Welcolm Scruffy.this lot is not a bad bunch. Ignore any comments from the real prisoners of mother england -(auzzies) and poms the auzzies rejected (kiwis) For a bunch of colonials they are all pretty good sorts

What's your weather like right now, Scuffy? Do you get to ride all year round where you are?

Nice bikes, but dodgy relatives if they aren't into bikes! You'll have to come over here and try out our roads, I think you'd like them. This is a pretty good site, great to have such a wide range of views, but all with a common denominator - we all love bikes!

Welcome, and don't be a stranger! (Being strange, however, is optional!)
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Well its meant to be summer !! But with rain most of yesterday, intermitent sunshine today and heavy rain + high winds forecast for tomorrow you'd never believe it

Riding all year round can be done...you'd have to be brave or daft though.
Once the grit/salt lorries have been out in winter your bike turns into a rusting wreck in a couple of weeks so mine get tucked up in the garage...yep im a fair weather biker

Oh, you didn't say you were a Jehovah's Witness! Must be hell, having to put up with more than one wife - my husband would be even crazier than he is now if he had to cope with another one like me!

I know England does have summer so I won't give you a hard time - but it's probably a bit like our winter! It has been pretty good here lately, hard to believe we were sitting around in tracksuit pants and teeshirts on the weekend, it was like late summer.

Glad we don't have ice and snow where we live, so the bikes only end up covered in cow shit (live in the country) and bugs! I don't really blame you for keeping your bikes in the garage until the weather is better, I would too!

Greetings scuffy. I admire the Poms, they gave us the dictionary.

Can I have your phone number?
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
