    Another philosophical conundrum

    Check out this arsebook page

He is 13, races in the USA on Moriwaki MD250H and

    SV650!!!!

    And he is soo tiny.

Is this the right way to go????

An American kid won the MotoGP Rookies Cup (JD Beach) a couple years back but has not pushed on.
The American entered in EJC is consitently last or nearly last and is the same sort of kid as this kid.

I just don't know how to feel about it really.

    13? SV650? MD250H OK, but SV650?

    Sheesh.

Well... apart from the physical size of the SV, they are about the same power to weight aren't they?
If not we have our rules really wrong........

If he has the skill to ride an MD, then he has the same skill set to ride the SV how I see it.

I see, yup, he can make his way around the track on a commuter bike, but does he have the real talent to ride the MD to it's full potential?

Can't see how riding the SV is helping him at all except maybe in publicity.

The SV makes more sense than the MD, as the US has only production based championships at a national level. Get used to throwing around a heavy bike, and then all you are doing is upping and upping the power through the ranks, much like GP bikes but different.

Unfortunately the world of GP bikes is foreign to most except those in Spain and in the GP's themselves.....

For anything race related from arai helmets, to sprockets and chains, XT Lap timers, HRC parts you name it, Kev can get it www.racesupplies.co.nz

Sounds young, but seriously an SV650 isn't exactly a rocketship now is it? It's the labrador of bikes.
