    To Jet Set - Wanderlust

It's one of those nights, sitting plodding away with work, trying to make some progress. Have a semi-decent whisky and some cruisy music, always makes me develop feelings of wanderlust. Does anyone else sometimes just get the urge to up and leave for an exotic land? If so...where? For me, it's Malta in the Mediterranean. If I could, I would walk to the airport right now and jump on a flight! Bet my clients would love me. Where do you dream of going to?

South Island works for me (and easier on a sudden whim). Unless you pay a huge chunk for business seats, the aeroplane seats are too small and uncomfortable.

Otherwise, Alaska and Northern Canada for some adventure riding... Europe if I was y'know... forced to.

With that BMW of yours, there would be times that just jumping in the saddle and heading off would be incredibly tempting. The sort of thing where you say to the mrs "honey, heading out for a ride, be back in a bit" and before you know it you've ridden to the other end of the country I think you're onto something with the adventure bike.

Planning on buying a nice Slab Side GSXR1100 next year in the States. Having it shipped to a mate in San Jose. Fly into San Fran...collect bike. Do Laguna Seca again...then maybe up into Canada along the West Coast. Ship bike home. Seems like a better idea than hiring a bike.

Yeup. Plus, fill in the morning and head into the back blocks to explore. Don't need to think about gas for another 600km+.

That said, there are days when you've covered 150km and you drag your sorry tired arse back into town.

36-38L has to be good for something. I've done 750km before, and had a little to go. She's a heavy bitch when full and trying to adv ride.

Feel free to join me mate! If it weren't for the fact I work in a Suzuki Dealership...I'd be buying me one of these! Much cheaper...and dare I say it...a much better bike! But they'll never be as collectable for whatever reason. How cheap is this?

But a Slabby...and I fucking hate this colour...

I was spoilt in 2007, as Harley-Davidson USA lent me a Buell XB12SS free of charge for three weeks. I'll organise some Harley crates to put 'em in when I'm finished...may cost around $1000.00 to freight 'em home. Best way to do it I reckon.

lol. Fucking Bully! Yeah an FZR1000 is a lil boring. But they are seriously good bikes. Will waste a GSXR1100 in stock trim too. But yeah...I know...not as cool. I've owned a few of both. To me...slab side GSXR's look so butch. Like..."look at me like that again cunt and I'll chew your balls off!!!"

So there you have it. Fancy a road trip next year to Laguna etc?

Turkey would be cool Rach loved the place.
