    I didn't get a chance to give her a good run today as I was on the dirt bike. Will do it tomorrow weather permitting!

    Weather tomorrow is mint, we were going to shoot up to Paihia but, I have a caravan to sand, nearly done.

    ok so I want to clean the carb this weekend but my manual doesn't say how and I can't remember what to do even though someone told me very quickly, does anyone have any links?

    Undo the big bolt under the carb with the fuel tap off and drain all the petrol. Refit bolt and re-fit.

    Thats a good starting point.

    Then if you feel excited, turn off the petrol, undo the clamps that hold the carb at either end and twist the carb on its side. That way you will be able to undo the 4 screws that hold the float bowl on. (tip, if the little screws are to tight then try to tighten them before undoing. That will crack the screw to make it easier to undo. Make sure you have a screwdriver that fits the screw well). Clean all you can see. If you have a compressor at hand blow air through the jets(little brass things). Put back together.

    At least I think thats what he said.

    hmmm well I'm some of the way there, it won't appear to let me twist it on account of the throttle cable though hrmmm

    You will have to remove that, other wise you will damage something.
