    Choose 1 from:

    President Helen Clark
    President Peter Jackson
    President Colin Meads
    President Dave Dobbyn

When you look at the possible "fixes", the current situation doesn't look so broken does it?

I mean, I'm a pretty strongly republican pom, but then you think President Tony Blair, and Charles doesn't seem such a twat after all.

    Well...like, that's your opinion man...

At least the others are New Zealanders (or Kiwi Twats) who would put their national interests first.

Helen Clark, who bought her job at the UN with our tax money, putting the country's interests first? Srsly?

Anyway, I don't really have a dog in the fight, apart from detesting the above mentioned former PM (daren't mention the name more than once, she might come back). I'd like to see the whole Saxe-Coburg family retired, I'd like to breath my last in a Republic and I'm not swearing an oath of allegiance to any person, ever...but I'll still take the jug-eared, Homeopathy-promoting, architect-baiting, plant-talking Prince in preference to the likes of Tony B. Liar.

Me either - in NZ fight. I don't really mind Chuck for that matter, but what I want is a 'symbol' who represents what I/we are. And that's all it is - symbolism.

But one that is earned, not a product of hereditary privilege in another country.

The Qld police are famous for their compassion with protesters.

I've just been reading about the inconvenience it will inflict on me...errr...the city.
Sounds like an invitation that's gonna be hard to refuse... will see if the great money god leaves me enough cash for a holiday with the family and if so, I'll dust off the kilt .

How many are they expecting to turn up?
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

The last article I read said 'It may be too far' [for most of the career protesters to travel].

There are some hairy legged hippies around Northern NSW but they are probably too stoned to get past the random drug testing checkpoints that will proliferate on the roads north of Nimbin.

I suspect most of the action will involve heavy satire on electronic media.

You're not exactly selling it to me man and with salesman skills like that, it's hardly surprising she's not ready to let you leave her teat.

I have no problem with the royal family in the UK. NZ and AU should just go their own way and stop whining about having a foreign head if state.

Fucking Kiwis moaning about Auckland. You should go and live or work in a real Bona Fide shithole for a while. You'd appreciate what a good city it actually is.
