Auckland's main attraction for me has always been that all the Aucklanders live there .... instead of down here!

Unfortunately that has changed over the last few years and most of them seem to want to spread out and bring Auckland attitudes with them.

Mine is a collective attitude rather than being about individual Aucklanders and as BD says, it is a nice place to be, especially for Aucklanders!

So please stay there and just grizzle about it, Sir Dovemyer-Robinson tried to fix it years ago but Aucklanders just pissed about and did nothing about it!

I doubt whether the new greater Auckland will do anything either because Aucklanders will not allow anyone to ever get the job done!

I've lived here for nearly a decade and I've only ever met two Aucklanders...Poms, Jaapies, Asians, Cantabrians for Africa, there are, where do the Aucklanders live?

Come to think of it, I could make a fortune selling "I'm not an Aucklander, I just live here" T-shirts...
