    Bring back Mike!

A spokesperson for TVNZ says she is unable to comment on what
high-profile presenter Mike Hosking will be doing in 2004, after he
was today officially dropped from the Breakfast show.

Breakfast will have a new presenter, Alison Mau, while a statement
released this afternoon said "Mike Hosking will not return for
    2004."

It was unclear if he was not returning to Breakfast or TVNZ in
general, and a spokesperson was unable to clarify this when
    approached by NewsRoom News Agency.

She said she could not comment on what he is doing in 2004.

Mike Hosking was dropped as a presenter of the "Sunday"
programme last year and the latest news and current affairs line-up
does not specify a continuing major role for him.

In other changes, One News begins with Judy Bailey presenting in the
single newsreader format from January 19. Neil Waka will read weekday
sport, with Kay Gregory and Karen Olsen anchoring the weather.

The late news bulletin, Tonight, also has its debut on Monday 19
January and will be hosted by Kate Hawkesby and Eric Young.

    He's ok

I mean his hair style got more & more like he'd been dragged backwards through a bush but he was kinda fun...the man they really need to can is Paul (I'm the BIGGEST dork out) Holmes! I mean did you see him at the LOTR premiere - he didn't even know who Hugo Weaving was! Sheesh!

I may be a little mixed up there.

Feck - and here I am accused of posting irrelevent threads.

But that Kate Hawkesby is a bit of Top Totty

Personally - I think Mike Hoskings is a wanker. He has no interviewing skills preferring to bulldoze his guests down a line of questioning regardless of their responses. He talks over his guests, and ihis style is not professional enuf. He talks way to fast and disjointed for mainstream television.

Wasn't he supposedly pegging Kate on the sly?

He did okay hosting the DNZ thing tho - only because he had a 1 min intro.

This posting is intended as a litmus test for what people react to around here. Just finding the boundaries, bear with me...

Today Hosking, tomorrow Holmes. Then kill all reality show producers.

Kate a Top Totty! Cmon now. She has always reminded me of an alien that's been under that tanning bed for a few too many hours.
